Meilenweit 100 Sooty is made from 75% virgin wool (merino) and 25% polyamide. Each ball weighs 100 g and has a yardage of approx. 400 m. Recommended needle size is 2.5–3 mm with a tension of about 28 stitches x 40 rows over 10 x 10 cm. One 100 g ball is enough for one pair of socks up to around EU size 43/44.
